More about Dr. June Srisethnil

June was inspired to be a physical therapist by her desire to help people in a direct and meaningful way. Multiple ankle sprains and muscle strains as a high school athlete (basketball and badminton) introduced her to the world of physical therapy, rehabilitation, and sports medicine. She enjoyed learning how to take care of herself and come back stronger after her injuries. As a physical therapist, June takes pride in connecting and coaching her clients to reach their goals — whether that's walking around the block or learning how to jump higher or getting back to work. She believes in creative problem solving when it comes to overcoming barriers to exercise and healthy living. She also believes in a proactive approach to reducing risks for pain, injury, or re-injury. She genuinely enjoys conversation and collaboration with her clients.

Education

June graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Boston University Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences in 2005. Prior to that, she received a Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University in Civil Engineering. Since becoming a licensed physical therapist, her continuing education and training has focused on orthopedics, sports medicine and rehabilitation, manual therapy, injury prevention and ergonomics.
